Verdict - Stronghold 3

You can certainly turn a blind eye to the awkward combat mechanics and the economic part to do, especially as Stronghold 3 just offers two single-player campaign to choose from - military and economic. But it did not save us from disappointment.

Actually, the game will push you to do this: In Stronghold 3 has only two possible solutions to any problem: preset and wrong.







Thematic division campaign, incidentally, quite arbitrary. Both assume that your settlement will be developed each time in the same way - with sufficient protection from enemies and operating infrastructure.

There is, however, and a third mode - free. But it eventually turns out to be flawed: the maps are small and to build something really interesting to spend a lot of years and play real-time clock: while the peasants gather enough resources to build the walls.
